failure

girl interrupted

just a tiny series of white on basic bold color.

Share.

share love

torn between 2 types of loves...

this painting definitely represents a specific time in my life . i wont go into detail - nor do i think i need to...

another flower something - impressionist

you know, i dont really like this one. the lighting, the scale and everything is all off. i wasnt finished with it and i wont go back to it - just yet...lol.
if you could feel it, the texture is pretty cool though :)

yellow flowers with bird feathers

inspiration came from a trip to leu gardens about 3-4 years ago. i took a picture of set of beautiful yellow flowers (yellow is my favorite color) and while i dont really paint a lot of "real things" i really like my impressionistic (thanks john) version of it. this paintings is several years old and with wear and tear i covered parts of the painting that had been nicked white my cockatiels feathers :) for the ultimate natural package, i textured the painiting with grass, sticks and sand.

No Doubt - my favorite song Rock Steady

i got to see no doubt earlier this month. i love them so much, i have been a big fan since i was 15. the video isnt all that great. but this song she is singing is my favorite song she has written. you should download "rock steady from no doubt. the lyrics are great. talking about relationships and whatnot...

eruption

this is a unfinished - but yet finished frustrating attempt to paint something i saw in a magazine that was sooo beautiful. it is obviously a volcano but i cant remember where its from. i just thought it was so intense and it was really inspiring. so i tried, but i didnt like and then never really finished it. as it laid on my art table forever, i actually grew to like the unfinished peice :)

just colors

inspired obviously by the magazine/model/outfit in the picture. i like bright colors and mixing them and smearing them. especially in diagonals...

music

simple, quick abstract of how great electronic/techno music can be. vibrant, order and meaning/purpose.

simple flower beauty - impressionist

i was inspired by some flowers that hadnt quite bloomed yet. in fact - generally i like flowers before they bloom. i like how they are all tight and clean before they expose themselves and their beauty to the world, lol. its like just a pop of color is there and they are teasing you of what is yet to come :)

feng shui inspiration

this is the first painting that took me over 3 hours. i usually dont take that long. the inspiration came from one of my feng shui books and i needed some dragon to offset something or other in the apartment i was living at the time. i like this one...

saudi love

i did this painting in memory of my age at that time and where i was and what i was doing. i was living in saudi arabia then. that year was such a great year cause it was so much fun. lots of "firsts." the picture just basically sums up the love and teenage years...

first series...

i think this was about the first two painting i did. i like abstract and like bright colors. there is no hidden meaning - just inspired by brush strokes and red on white

kyrie

and this is kyrie (name from the game kingdom of hearts - yes we are nerds)

we rescued her from the human society so she is a little skiddish, but she will headbutt you when she needs attention. she is started to become quite the lady, BBW (ssh, dont tell her i told you). and she is quite possible, the most beautiful kitty ever. pics dont do her justice. she looks like dinah from alice in wonderland

rue

here is rue (aka jack, jackaroo).

hes scared of thunder and rain (good thing we live in florida). he lets me spoon him, and he likes his babies (which are stuffed animals) his favorite baby is a stuffed animal seal i got from seaworld. now it has no nose...

ruueee!!!

Just getting started...
